Oftentimes, web marketing and development roles fall to people who already had full-time work doing related tasks off-line. Sometimes these people need additional training in order to fulfill their new responsibilities. Other times, a small business owner may want to learn to edit their own web site, and requires training in order to do so. Or an IT staff fully qualified to program a dynamic database, manage their own server, etc., needs training in order to manage web marketing tasks, which are not often taught in computer science courses, in-house. These are just some of the situations I've encountered in which clients required training.

The best training is customized to your ability level and your goals. It is best done in person, but can often be done by phone and e-mail. Either way, you set the schedule and pace.
